Household sync

One baby tracker for both parents.

The 3 AM question is never "what app are you using," it's "when did she last eat." Log the feed on your phone and your partner's phone already knows. One household, one record, one price - even when one of you has an iPhone and the other has an Android.

The full tracker is free on one device. Sync is what the household subscription adds.

Rhythm dashboard showing the shared feed both caregivers see

Both phones, one record

Whoever is holding the baby logs the event. The other phone shows it within seconds, so handoffs stop starting with an interview. No screenshots of the tracker texted between parents, no "did you write down the medicine," no per-seat fees.

Because Rhythm runs in the browser, a mixed household is not a problem to solve. An iPhone, an Android phone, and a laptop all open the same app and the same history. Each person can add it to their home screen so it feels like any other app.

Invites without friend requests

From Settings, open Household and generate an invite. Your partner scans the QR code or enters the code, and they're in. Invite codes expire after 24 hours, so a code that leaks out of a group chat does not stay live.

Helpers get a guest role instead: access that expires after the period you choose. A nanny week or a grandparent visit gets full logging while it lasts and nothing after it ends.

Offline does not break the household

Each phone keeps its own local copy. If one of you is on a plane or in a basement with no signal, logging keeps working, and the record reconciles automatically when the phone comes back online. Nobody's entries block anybody else's.

What syncs, exactly

Everything in the household: events, baby profiles, caregiver profiles, event type definitions, timers, medicine definitions, daily ratings, wake window settings, growth measurements, and chart configurations. Theme and display preferences stay local to each device - your partner might prefer different colors.

I charge for sync because the servers that keep a household current and backed up cost money to run. I do not sell your data or show ads.

Questions

Does my partner need the same kind of phone?

No. Rhythm runs in the browser, so an iPhone and an Android phone share the same household without anyone hunting an app store. Each person can add it to their home screen.

Do we pay per person?

No. One household price covers everyone: your partner, a grandparent, and a nanny.

How fast does a logged event show up on the other phone?

Within seconds while you are online. Offline, each phone keeps logging locally and catches up automatically when it reconnects.

What about a nanny or visiting grandparent?

Invite them as a guest. Guest access expires after the period you choose, so a week of help does not become permanent access to your baby's record.
