A milk stash tracker is a running count of stored breast milk. In Rhythm the count changes when you pump, give a bottle, or donate, so there is no number to keep updating by hand. Freezer and deep-freezer bags are tracked separately against the CDC's 6 and 12 month limits.
Use ounces or milliliters. Add household sync only if another caregiver needs the same live inventory.
Know what is in each freezer
Log each bag's volume, frozen date, and freezer or deep-freezer location. Rhythm totals the volume and bag count in each place, keeps a transaction history, and flags bags nearing the app's storage date so the older milk is easier to find first.
Storage reminders help you find older milk first. Temperature, handling, and cleanliness still matter; use current CDC storage guidance and advice from your clinician when deciding what is safe to use.
See which direction the stash is moving
Recent use
Daily use is the average of the last seven days of logged stash feeds. Days of supply is the current stash divided by that daily use. With no recent use, Rhythm shows no estimate.
Recent pumping
Average daily pumping uses the last 14 days. A stash goal can show progress and an estimated date only when the recent net change supports one.
When exact-looking forecasts add pressure instead of helping, Calm Mode softens them.

Let the bottle update the same inventory
When a bottle uses frozen milk, record the bag as fed. Donations in and out use the same ledger. The person preparing a bottle and the person pumping later can work from one current total instead of reconciling notes between two phones.
With household sync, both caregivers see the same inventory. It costs $5/month or $45/year for the whole household, not per caregiver.

How many days of milk do I have left?
Rhythm divides your current stash by your average daily use over the last seven days, so 720 ounces at a 12-ounce daily average is 60 days. The number updates as you log stash feeds and disappears if there is no recent use to calculate from.
Is there a milk stash calculator?
Yes. The breast milk stash calculator counts the bags you enter and shows how many bottle days they cover, and it needs no account. That is different from days of supply in Rhythm, which divides your current stash by your average daily use over the last seven days.
Can I track freezer and deep-freezer milk separately?
Yes. Rhythm keeps separate location totals and bag counts.
Can I track donated milk?
Yes. Record donation in or donation out. Lifetime donated appears after a donation has been logged.
Does using a bottle update the stash?
Yes. Mark the frozen milk as fed and Rhythm removes that volume from the current stash.
