Know what is in each freezer
Log each bag's volume, frozen date, and freezer or deep-freezer location. Rhythm totals the volume and bag count in each place, keeps a transaction history, and flags bags nearing the app's storage date so the older milk is easier to find first.
Storage reminders help you find older milk first. Temperature, handling, and cleanliness still matter; use current CDC storage guidance and advice from your clinician when deciding what is safe to use.
See which direction the stash is moving
Recent use
Burn rate uses the last seven days of logged stash feeds. Days of supply is the current stash divided by that recent use. With no recent use, Rhythm shows no estimate.
Recent pumping
Average daily pumping uses the last 14 days. A stash goal can show progress and an estimated date only when the recent net change supports one.
When exact-looking forecasts add pressure instead of helping, Calm Mode softens them.
Let the bottle update the same inventory
When a bottle uses frozen milk, record the bag as fed. Donations in and out use the same ledger. The person preparing a bottle and the person pumping later can work from one current total instead of reconciling notes between two phones.
